Red Fulvia Zagato seen west bound on the A417 between Streatley and Blewbury, today at around 13:30.  My wife, being the passenger, could not understand why I was suddenly paying particular interest to the stylish red car coming the other way!

It must be several years since I last saw a Lancia on the roads round here, so allow me a bit of self-indulgence! My new Appia's first outing (last on the road in 1984!); hoping that the road salt has been washed away with the recent rains, I ventured out this morning for a quick run:

Now I've got a few more jobs added to the list  Grin

Well, one more, then I'd better start a dedicated thread in the Appia section!

Shame it has to have such a huge number plate! Otherwise a super little car.

I disagree, John; I think it's a shame so many owners of Italian cars put illegally small plates on their cars!

this legal stuff is ambiguous. My MOT man (he is very strict and thorough) said that if the car carried a smaller number plate surround pre 73 ie silver on black style and that the numer plate was readable then it was legal. Indeed most Lancias have a rear numberplate surround which you cannot get 7standard size symbols in side without reducing the font size. The front bumpers are pre drilled for the italian stainless suround......this discussion exists elsewhere on the forum....

Fulvia Coupe. Yesterday afternoon - on the winding road through Alexandra Park in north London. While walking through the park in cold winter sunshine I was woken from my daydream by a familiar exhaust note. I looked back to see a red Fulvia Coupe DVD 250K disappearing into the distance – it made my day.
