In France last week, near Paris. Very few sightings. New Y, S3 Thema in vivid met green, S2 Dedra and a Phedra. Red Delta HF - I think - on an H plate on the M25. Phedra hard to get excited by....

dutch registered lambda tourer on the back of a monaco registered recovery truck heading north in Montelimar on Thursday.Pulled into the services where I was parked. I missed the driver of the truck and subsequently couldn't catch it on the motorway making it by some stretch the fastest lambda currently on the road i think...

only the sort encased in a bar of delicious toblerone I'm afraid..
Saw the lambda whilst heading back from Gruissan (nr Narbonne) to an overnight stop in Beaujolais (chenas). We live in northern (flemish) belgium.
53? I can only relate to French departments in terms of wine; is this not just (n)west of the Loire (above le Mans)?

As another writer correctly pointed out, fortune smiled on me and I could combine my hobby with work (torturing of political prisoners).
However, one thing led to another and Mrs Scarpia, the smaller Scarpias and I relocated to belgium 12 years ago...but what  brings an otherwise (apparently) rational man to the fields of France though?

Britanny Ferries, usually.

But seriously....

We've been here around seven years and, ironically, are just in the throes of moving back to Blairsville as I'm buying a UK business that can't easily be relocated.

I do think, though, that the torturing of political prisoners is SO important in the ever-changing world of the EU.  Doubtless those famous euro-twins (Norm and Grant) are providing you with adequate assistance in your chosen field.

Rational, moi?

I thought I detected the pangs for good old blighty with the reference to making a "curry" for Mrs Rodders some weeks ago.

As there is little prospect that they would allow me back in (and there are no indian take aways in belgium) I have become quite an adept indian cook in recent years. My Chicken Khara Masala and Jal Frezi are really not bad...this makes us almost entirely self sufficient of course.

At the car-park for the Vintage Sports-Car Club race meeting on 21 April at Silverstone. Seen through the windscreen of my Fulvia Sport S1 (hybrid): red Fulvia Coupe 1.3 S1, cream Fulvia Sport 1.3 S2, blue Fulvia Sport 1.6 S2 and two Lambdas, one black and the other green. Also, three Aurelia B20s were thought to be lurking in the distance. Lots of other exotic cars were there, but Lancia seemed to be very well represented. And so they should be!

Seen on Saturday 10 March early afternoon turning north from Old Street to Goswell Road, central London – a Beta Saloon, 2000ES with registration number FJD 17V. This was on a trailer and covered with dust and blinking into the daylight after being underground for years, but looking absolutely lovely and full of promise on its way to a new home in Wiltshire in the care of new owner Andy Collins.

Colin Marr

Spotted yesterday in St Nicholas Street, Bristol and at various traffic lights throughout Bristol City Centre.

It's condition is unbelievable!  Expect to see it over the summer at various Beta 35 celebrations.
