I met David Ashworth recently with a view to purchasing the Fulvia 1600 Sport reg SFX88K that he has currently advertised.  I found him very easy to do business with, and though I didn't buy the car it was not because I had any reservations about either the vehicle or the vendor. (I have acquired instead a Fulvia Coupe 1.3S from a fellow club member who kindly offered me the opportunity to compare a Coupe and a Sport on the same day, and the little Coupe won my heart).  Should it be helpful to discuss Lancia Classic Restorations further by phone or offline don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards, Michael.

David Ashworth made one heck of a job of the Fulvia 1600 Sport considering that this was the one I reported on last year, that had been rescued from the crusher by a non lancisti, who couldn't bear to see it crushed, having looked at the before and after photos, it fills me with wonder and awe that there are people out there who are capable of work such as this.

See http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2836.0 Before.

Blimey, I had no appreciation that it was that car!  Thats amazing.  I have spoken to David a few times and corresponded via email - always very helpful.
