Hi All

My 1991 Delta 1600HF has been in my parents garage for the last year now and I need to decide what to do with her as they want their garage space back!

Up until now, I've been reluctant to sell as the car as this is the last/best one I've owned and the advice from you guys previously was to keep her!! It's still in very good condition overall, has been properly maintained and I've owned her for nearly 8 years.

The issues I have are as follows:

1. The inner rear arches need welding up
2. There is the usual rust spots in the usual places though no holes etc.
3. My kids now struggle to get in the back due to the lack of rear headroom

Does anyone know whether its possible/feasible to reduce the size of the seat cushions in the rear so as to increase headroom? Also whether its possible to get the rust/welding repairs done economically, unfortunalely can't do any of the work myself due to work commitments. Would also be interested in any serious offers/swap for another Lancia?

Here's the car too before going into storage!
Thanks
Mark..

The car is now in my friendly ex-Lancia garage for an assessment of the rust.

Fingers crossed, watch this space!

Good luck Mark, let's hope it's not too bad. Grin

1.  Nowt new there Mr Turpin - just a maintenance issue for a Delta...
2.  As 1...!  Best caught now before spots become holes.
3.  Stop feeding them.  Or tell them suffering is noble.

Seriously - glad you're getting it fixed.  Good luck - it is worth it.  Deltas, and certainly the sportier models, are rising in value. This is not the money pit option I took a few years ago with my 1300.  And they are such fun to drive....
