Thought I would stick my dilemma onto the forum....

I hope to be selling my 1993 Merc SL500 to get back to a Lancia. Question is, a 2004 Thesis 2.0 turbo manual with 32k miles on it, UK registered, or try to get a Thema 8.32?

Obvious point is one will depreciate continually and the 8.32 won't......not to be used as an every day car. Thesis is splendid, 8.32 we all know about.

Both willl cost roughly the same to buy, give or take £1000.

What do you chaps think?

what a dilemma!! If it were my money i'd buy the Thesis. Saw loads of them when i was last in Rome, & its just such a stunner! I love Lancia's Thema, especially the 8.32, but my heart would say Thesis!

If i had the money, i'd buy one!

Thesis would cost on residuals, 8.32 on maintenance.  Go with your heart.

Let the heart rule the head and go for the 8.32.

Has to be the 8.32 - such a sense of occasion.

Ok, it would be the 8.32 for the occasion and the T.25 (see the BBBC news) for commuting and the integrale for enjoyment.
