This is the same car on the Sliding Pillar Rally in 2001 before it was restored.

Why restore it? I know pictures can lie but it looks pretty good to me as it was.

I saw the car a few times.
Problem is with all these "prototypes" is that people are tempted because of the the "pedigree" or rarity but if you look at them they are often poorly proportioned. I much prefer the more standard offerings; the nose and trims are too fussy and the screen too shallow. So I'm out, I won't be investing....(been watching too much Dragons Den)
