Rust , What Rust !! I don't See any rust !!!

« on: 11 June, 2010, 01:22:01 PM »

Found this on the side of the road not even a mile away from me!!!
After doing a bit of research it turns out to be an ex-Italian embassy car and a very high spec.
Called into the owner and he says he wants to clean it and get it back working (now that hes retired).... we'll see....

Looking a lot better

Looks like someone has had a go at nicking it. Steering wheel looks like it’s bent, probably trying to get a crook-lock off + wires from the ignition are hanging out.

Shame to see such a good car go to waste.

Huh? What you cant see is the glove compartment lid ripped off and the steering wheel cowl in bits on the floor. I spent the past 8 yrs restoring a Thema to a very high standard, when I started you could buy a lot of parts from main Fiat dealers But now there is little or nothing to be got, this means searching e-bay ect. Huh?
