Can anyone provide some background info regarding a 1979 Coupe for sale in Moores Car Centre Wigan for £2795. The Registration is YEG 738T, according to the blurb it was the subject of a photo shoot for Classic Cars Magazine

If I remember rightly this is a 1300 similar to my own. Although rare (single figures left on uk roads?) and with a super little engine the larger engined cars, in particular the 1600 or the 2000ie or Volumex, are the sought after options.
If it's any guide I paid £ 1900 for mine 3 years ago with low milage (30K) in similar condition but from a private seller. The price isn't excessive as the car is probably unique, however you could probably pick up a higher spec car for the same money from a private sale.
