Ladies/Gentlemen and Brian

Having been away for some time soldering and attempting to re-establish the Empire
(God Bless Queen Victoria)  I'm please to report that I have survived, I won't regale
you with stories of my accomplishments/victories suffice it to say that all will no doubt
be revealed in future issues of Viva Lancia.

I can assure you of course that I am unchanged by my travels, although I do have a
bit of additional colour, I believe some would call it "going commando" although for
the life of me I can't understand why as being of a certain rank I obviously do not go
anywhere near the front.

I really only returned because my Hooligan/Rebel/Renegade title had been under
threat by some young upstart and that would never do.

Anyway  I'm Back so stand by you beds as you're long overdue for inspection.

Welcome back Geoff!

I am particularly pleased that you have been soldering, which as a Lancia owner is a much better way of spending your time than soldiering – a pursuit that can lead to all sorts of misfortune.

I think the colonel does mean soldering;how else can one support such a moustache.

glad to have you back in circulation.Empire building and war are overrated in my view. Fortunate indeed that you managed to establish a strategic "dig in" 50 miles or so behind the front line, one can't be too careful.

Welcome back Colonel Holmes.

Of course we were very, very drunk at the time (to coin a phrase), but I truly enjoyed our last sunlit, strategic natter at Albrighton Hall.

Kindest regards,

Gentlemen,

thank you for all your "kind" comments,
I would normally reply to all of you individually,
but I really can't be ar*sed

I should of course bore you all to death with the full
details of the restoration/modifications to eldiablonero
but suffice it to say : it's black, it's been lowered and
it's a wee bit quicker than when it left the factory.
