Google Imaged Dilambda recently and came up with this fascinating site. Of particular interest is the list of celebrities  (with photographs) and a note of the Lancia they owned. Just wish I could read the text!

Nice list. Didn't Fangio have a Lancia - Aurelia perhaps?

I've a Google toolbar that translates - otherwise Yahoo's Babel Fish will take a web page address and do it.   Both keep translating as you browse a site.

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

"Lancia, a steeped in tradition Italian automobile company, which manufactures unusual vehicles for customers with unusual desires for many years".

Does it loose something or gain everything in translation?

Googles attempt:  Lancia, a traditional Italian automobile company, which for many years for clients produces exceptional vehicles with exceptional needs.

Now THAT we all recognise...

Peter doesn’t look well, does he! Is he laid out on the parcel shelf?

I think that is the cover of his first, post-Genesis solo album, released in the mid 70s - the one with 'Solsbury Hill' on it.  Funny, I'd always had it in my head, apropos of no evidence whatsoever, that it was an NSU Ro80...

Did the Queen really have an Aurelia? If so what happened to it?

Is that a Golf with a bodykit?

Might have to Google some of these names but some integrale owners past and present.

I thought Eddie Irvine's was Lagos, perhaps he has had more than one....

Yes, saw the ex Eddie Irvine Lagos Blue car at the Bristol show last year. Parked next to it.

Rowan Atkinson used to/maybe still has an integrale , not sure on colour/spec. Used to be an LMC member, I remember he wrote an article for VL years back.

Keep meaning to pluck up courage to ask him at the Goodwood Revival.
