Hi there, well the Bristol meeting continues to go from strength to strength, at the last meeting there was Simon, Richard, Steve, Harvey, Mark, Peter, Ben, Andy, Terry, Antony & his Dad Antonio. Harvey's organising a Christmas dinner in Thornbury which is filling up quickly so if you fancy going you'd better hurry up. I'd like to wish everyone at the Bristol Meet & all lovers of Lancia a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New year. Cheers, Rob MacFarlane

Yep, Mark Lima was our flying guest from Surrey for the evening. I think I counted 4 Lancias in the car park, which isn't bad: Terry's Dedra, Richard's Integrale, Ben's Y10 and my Ypsilon. Quite a mix!

Hi everyone, great to see a few more Lancias at this weeks meeting. Steve Pilgrims Evo 2, Richs Evo 1, Bens 16v integrale, Harveys Ypsilon & Steve Whatts imaculate HF turbo ie. Also there was Pete, Tony, Simon, Harvey, Antonio & his son Tony. Most of the talk was around the Goodwood track day which everyone enjoyed especially the two Steves! I'll have to get cracking on my HF turbo restoration project & hopefully get it ready for next years Goodwood track day! Cheers, Rob  Cheesy

I had a good time at the last meeting (at the Compass). We had a new member turn up, Marcus in his Beta Coupe. The car used to belong to Russ Smith who writes for Classic Car Weekly & is in very good condition. Also there was Terry, Simon, Steve, Harvey, Antonio, Tony & later on Ben who bought me a pint (good man!). Antonio brought along a couple of interesting models - an Aurelia & an Aprilia that ran on methane! Cheers for now. Rob

Simon Davis & his 1.8 Dedra ie, Richard Carr & Evo 1  K2 POO are also shown,  L585 HAN was my first Thema series 3 2.0 16v Le Vis Auto. Have a feeling that might have been at Himley Hall. must have been about 1998 when I lived in the wye Valley and belonged to the Bristol Group, Paul Harris? used to run the group at the time, met him at the AGM the other week, first time I've seen him in about 10 years.

The photos are from a Winter night meet at the Compass Inn 2000-2001, the Silver Elefantino Rosso was mine that I just bought new from Rotterdam, & the Red one belonged to Garry Mason who bought his Rosso from the same Dealer after seeing mine had convinced him that was what he wanted.

Yes it is! As you can see the photo was taken in 2001 & I took her off the road the following year. I've been doing a bit of work on the Delta lately, I've welded 2 sections into the front inner wings last week & started repairing the roof which looks like it's going to be a lot of work!!!! Cheers, Rob

He never used to come in anything else up to when I moved!  I think at the time he was running it as his company car, but grabbing one from the car pool if he had to go any distance Grin

Hi everyone, just thought I'd say what a great day I had at the Classic car Show (NEC) on saturday. It was great to see the new Delta on our stand & have a proper look round & sit inside, I was really impressed by the styling although I felt it should have had a few styling cues from the earlier Deltas to give it the feel of an evolution of the original design but that's me being a bit picky  Wink. The rest of the stand was a tasty mix of old & new, Don Williamson's Lambda limousine was absolutly stunning the standard of finish on the interior & the bodywork was perfect. I also enjoyed seeing the little Appia Pininfarina Coupe, not a car you see very often even in Lancia circles. The Monte boys seemed to be having a good laugh on their stand dressed up in cool seventies suits, they looked like they'd been auditioning for the Sweeney! The Beta Boyz had a very nice selection of Betas on display, it was good to see Andy's saloon in such fine fettle & Marcus's coupe looked very classy in its' dark green body work. Thanks must go to Simon Davis for giving me lift in his lovely 159 saloon & getting a good discount on the entry fee  Grin. Cheers for now, Rob

Well it was another enjoyable evening at the Compass this wednesday, Steve was oranising the Christmas meal which is next saturday (Dec 6th). Also present was Peter (Aurelia), Terry (Dedra), Harvey (Ypsilon), Antonio (Thema), Tony, Andy (Beta Salon), Simon, Pete & Tony. A lot of the chat centered around the NEC Classic Car Show & the new Delta, many of us wondering if they'll actually sale over here in right hand drive. Next year's looking busy for some of Andy's Lancias with his Beta Salon at the Bristol Auto Moto then his early series 1 Delta 1500 & Beta Salon at the NEC Classic Car Show. See you at the La Bruschetta Thornbury. Wink Cheers, Rob
