Nothing wrong with your Passat Steve, it's just that your 'Grale' is far more interesting & a lot more handsome. Still I can't say much, the last time I brought my Delta HF ie to the monthly meeting was nearly 5 years ago! Cheers, Rob Mac

I'm getting slack in co-ordinating my social life. Sorry for not being able to make it last night, and I'm away for next month's meeting.
We talked about an outing to the Haynes Museum at some point in the summer. Has anybody volunteered to arrange this yet? If not, shall I?

Harvey,

I was going to organise the trip to Haynes motor museum, was thinking of September but after seeing the events schedule thought about moving it into October.

Days event would be to meet up at the tea house on the A46 by Dyrham Park, make your way to Ilchester for Sunday lunch at an Italian Resuarent (if I can arrange it) then on to the Haynes Motor museum.

Just a HUP !

... and a reminder that we decided to be radical and meet at 7pm next week for a drive prior drinking ! Cheesy

Ben is due to provide a route, let's hope the thunderstorms have stopped ...

... just to let all the Bristol Babbers know I've managed to get the mud off the car - except underneath the engine where I can see it stuck on the bolts Smiley

Great route tho ... not often you get to drive down a lane requiring all headlights on in the middle of the day (it was quite enclosed with trees!)

The water feature was good too ...

From those who remembered Ben's invitation for a blast around the country lanes, A big thank you.

Also thanks to my driver Steve and his spiritly driven Evo2 for a great ride, it would have been a pity to take the everyday drive (Focus TDCi).

... I understand how hard it is to spot the turning when all the hedges are blurred, Simon Smiley
