I'm looking into the potential of arranging a monthly meeting for Cambridgeshire members.
To help out, all those who may be interested could you contact me with a) what do you want to get out of a regular meeting? b) whereabouts are you - so i can plan a location eqi-distance from everybody c) is monthly too much or would you prefer bi-monthly? d) any other suggestions.
E-mail me if easier

Hi Rodney,
I live in mid Bedfordshire and am part of the Herts & Beds Local Group, but if you looked from Royston (I know it's hertfordshire but only just) through to Duxford you would probably attract some of us.

Once a month is probably about right, the Hert& Beds meet the 1st tuesday every month at The Two Chimneys Stotfold Road Letchworth, the Essex Group  meet the 3rd Wednesday at the Chequers Matching Green as Tim pointed out.
And I see the Cambridgeshire Group Night is the last Thursday, so you wouldn't have any conflict there.

Sorry Tim didn't make myself clear. Once I've managed to assess interest i can start to plan where & when. If there isn't enough interest from anybody within Cambridgeshire to justify a seperate meeting I may well join one or both of you at your meetings.
Happy New Year!

The first meeting in the Cambridgeshire area is planned for April 15th. Location is The Village Inn, Witchford which is not far from Ely on the A142 towards Chatteris.
This is by no means going to be the permanent location or day but keen to get those local who have expressed interest (including one from Norfolk) togther as soon as possible.
Am very concious of comments from those outside the area and appreciate it may be too far for this meet but am thinking long term and next location may be more suitable. Obviously if you can make it that would be great - just let me know and I'll make sure enough room in the pub!

We are planning a get together on Sunday 10th October. Purely a social event but a chance to meet like minded people and sample some fine Italian food. The plan is to meet in Comberton, Cambs for coffee and then move off to La Pergola just around the corner (also serves traditional roast £12). Will need numbers beforehand to pre-book - Jane 01223 263355. We're hoping the location may allow those in other areas to attend. Any questions drop me a line.

Hi Rodders,
I'll put to other members of the Herts and Beds local lot as it's not too far from us. and more doable than your monthly meet location.
