Need details on front indicator light fittings for Fulvia Montecarlo…

I have my original lights (carello 11.638.000) but they will not fit into the front lower panel, the slots are completely the wrong dimensions, not wide enough but at the same time also too deep leaving a gap of approx 5-6mm top and bottom (i can only presume the panel has been replaced by a bad copy?), also the curves of the panel mean nothing will sit properly, Lancia must have produced a proper light fitting for bumper-less HF/Montecarlos?Huh?

TAV's give a different part number, but these seem to be the same specification only with chromed trim/clear lenses, can anyone help???

Is there a genuine part that will fit properly or has anyone any idea on a good substitute?

Many thanks,
FF

If it helps, the 1600 shell that the monte carlo uses, has a different front lower apron, indeed the holes are larger than the 1300 ones, i found that out when i removed my bumpers on my 1600hf, and went to put VW Golf mk1 front indicator lamps in the lower apron holes, like i used to use on previous 1300 Fulvias, and found out they fell straight through the holes, on monte carlo models i think they use a chrome indicator surround that screws to the front panel. if in any doubt, contact Alan Fairclough on this forum, he has a monte carlo, and i am sure will help you out. Good Luck. Roger. Sermon Ends. Wink

I think I have the right indicators (lancia carello 11/630/000), they should be the same size as Carello 16/631/000's but as you said they are too small on the height and too wide on the width (Huh?) there is no way they will fit, the HF/Montecarlos must have a completely different size/shape??? I tried MK1 Golf units already and agree they just fall through the slots… will try to contact Alan and get his thoughts, many thanks…
