Hello again.

My car came with an AM/FM cassette player and electric aerial. It's been a very long time since I had any cassettes so I think I'll be changing the unit for something with more modern internals.

I like the electric aerial even though it does clunk at max and min extension.

The problem I have is that the spindle surrounds have been broken and covered up badly by the previous owner.

Can someone tell me how this panel comes out and if it's likely I'll find a decent replacement.

I've seen classic looking radios with FM radio and Bluetooth connection which would be ideal with new speakers and wiring. Any experience of these?

Personally I’d ditch the radio. You’ll rarely be able to enjoy listening to it if you’re driving the car properly anyway!

100% as Richard has said listen to the lovely noise of your V4 Fulvia. You may find the trim piece on eBay they do pop up.

The LHD versions are more readily available in Europe (ebay.it for example). They normally have a fulvia script (extra part). You have to butcher a perfectly good blanking plate to fit a radio.... You can fit a discrete radio in or under the glove box... or a bluetooth amplifier  linked to your smart phone etc.
