An idle moment on eBay turned up this Lancia-Ferrari model kit: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194719380725

It doesn't look very well-detailed but it is 1/32 scale which means in theory it could be made into a slot car for the owner to recreate a few famous GP wins.

If anyone has any vintage 1/32 model car kits - specifically Airfix - they are fetching big money at specialist auctions now fwiw.

I think this is quite an old listing and few of them are still available. The Aprilia Woody should be on its way to me now, another addition to the mountain of fascinating but unbuilt projects. When I kick the bucket there are probably going to be another batch of obscure gems for others to collect.

That was quick work, Frank. Am trying to tempt Mr Laver into adding a 1/43 Flavia Zagato kit to his full-size kit.

You have to be quick to get special things when they pop up. I have the Flavia Sport Zagato Corsa from the 1964 Targa Florio in my pending pile along with many, many other little treasures.

I've plenty clutter without collecting kits, and plenty on my to-do list as well.  Am having a break between mending bikes and spreading compost.
