This told Grace Kelly's life through her own personal film archive on More 4 last night. Prince Ranier was shown just before their engagement in 1956 driving an Appia Vignale up the hill from Monte Carlo and into the palace.

Princess Grace also had a Flavia Milleotto Berlina that quite a few years came up for sale, I think at Omicron  and I was very tempted, as it was a lovely car.

That would have been nice to own Brian - she was quite a celebrity.  I was tempted to buy Katharine Hepburn's golf cart for my wife (super keen golfer) when I was living in Michigan, but got some contradictory information on condition so I backed out!  One message said it was running and in excellent condition, but another source said it was in pieces and crated up and had not been used for some years!
