Engine mounting bolts
« on: 16 March, 2022, 03:14:12 PM »
Help please!
Despite having been - I thought - very careful about where I put all the items I took off CLM when removing the engine/gearbox in 2018 and even being over confident enough to think that I had carefully wired the drivers side nut to the engine mounting, I now find that I have actually misplaced the castellated nut that goes on the top of the long bolt.
My stock of new mm nuts (17 mm across the flats) will not do the job as the pitch of the thread is different.
Has anyone got such an item which they would be willing to part with or any suggestions as to where I might find one?
Any offers gratefully received!

I have a whole motley stack of castellated nuts which you are welcome to rummage through.

Did you find some nuts? The thread is M10 x 1.25mm pitch.
I sent you an email
