We are reaching out to you and your members of the Lancia Motor Club to introduce you to our brand new Classic Car and Bike Festival for 2022, Summer Classics. This event, scheduled for Saturday 4th June, is to celebrate and coincide with the Queens Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend.

The event will be based at Three Counties Showground, near Malvern and will celebrate all classic cars and bikes as well as some other special vehicles. Please see the link attached to our website for more information about the event and what’s going on: https://summerclassics.co.uk

We are beginning to gather as many marques, makes, clubs and individuals to showcase their much loved vehicles and we would love to know if this is something your members would be interested in attending. We can offer a dedicated members area for your club attendees as well as a special commemorative rally plate to every exhibitor.

We have been working hard to create an exciting and varied programme that includes a live parade road, paddock area, auto-solo, Sporting Bears dream rides to raise donations for our charity partner, BBC Children in Need and we will soon be announcing a very special partnership with a well know celebrity auctioneer.

If this something you’d be interested to know more about, we would welcome the chance to chat to you further.

That dashboard looks familiar! Is it an Aurelia?

Updated details from the organisers:\

Dear Club,

We are organising a special Classic Car and Bike Festival to coincide with the Queen’s Jubilee in June. As a unique marque we would really love to have the club attend ‘Summer Classics’.

Please see link to the website below: www.summerclassics.co.uk

We will have dedicated ‘Club Area’s’ for vehicle, bike clubs and associations to bring together their members for a great day of car activities including an Autotest competition, a live Parade Road and a VIP Paddock area, Q&A talks, music and great food and good coffee.

The unique VIP Paddock area is a huge part of the event and to that end we are looking for ‘unique or wonderful’ cars that can be displayed within the VIP Paddock. We currently have a mixture of GT40’s, a couple of Cobra's, a rare Daimler drop head thats been fully restored, Jaguars and a Rare mini Rio Speedwell and many more.

We would really love to have any Club Members cars that you feel would be great as part of the VIP area as well as a club area on the festival site.

Some more info for you:

VIP Paddock Cars:
VIP Paddock cars and their owners receive free entry to the show, a dedicated area within the VIP Paddock for their cars, VIP Access to All Areas within the Paddock and event site, free Tea and Coffee for the duration of the event and a complimentary limited addition car valeting kit courtesy of  ‘Paul Martin Racing’ (RRP £40).

Parade Road:
VIP Paddock cars are encouraged to take part in the two Parade Road sessions (one morning - one afternoon) to explain about their cars to the event MC as well as show their cars to the public as a ‘moving display’.

We will send all relevant info to you closer to the event as theres a lot more going on than I can write here.

Jubilee Street:
At 16:00 on the day we will be turning the Parade Road into ‘Jubilee Street’ - a 300m long 'Jubilee Street Party' - we would love you to be part of the fun and if you could also pass this information on to any other car mad enthusiasts who may also be interested as we would love to have as many people as possible who are wishing to celebrate their cars with a little flag waving!

Summer Classics Marketing:
We are working with Simon Downing from Classic Car Marketing UK who is helping us market and promote the event, if you think this is something you can support and attend and have any images of club cars for Twitter, Instagram or Facebook we would love to link you to everything we push out.

As already mentioned if you feel this is something you would be able to attend please let me know.
