Could somebody please tell me the relevance of this article to Lancia? I Googled him expecting to see that he was perhaps a designer of Lancias or had a famous collection of the marque. But no, nothing of any note could I find that would make him an obvious subject for a page long article.

Please pardon my ignorance, I'm sure he was a wonderful man, but it would be helpful to know his connection to Lancia.

An interesting article; I hadn't heard of Giovanni Guareschi or the Don Camillo character he created.

If you're looking for a Lancia link then a Lancia Astura did feature in films about our protagonist: The Small World of Don Camillo and The Return of Don Camillo e.g.
