Wheel nuts, that is!
on the coupe, what would the original finish be?
and has any one ever tried one of those home electroplating kits?

IMO they should be chromed.

The small DIY home electroplating kits are okay for the odd bit of zinc plating, but chroming is best left to the experts.

Kindest regards,

In addition the chroming needs to be exceptionally well done as  the nuts are subject to serious abuse by way of wheel braces, sockets etc. My originals have just been replaced with re chromed exchange items from Omicron, expensive but beautifully done .
