My Belna recently developed a wheel wobble and it transpires that a front wheel hub has sheared from the plate which is fastened to the brake drum. It is apparent that this has happened before, the hub was welded together and the weld has now failed.
I have not been able to track down a spare.
Has anyone come across this before - is it a known weakness or did I just have an unlucky experience?
Does anyone know for sure whether Belna hubs are identical to Augusta ones? I would have thought they would be but there are many more detail differences than one might think.
Lastly if as I suspect my route forward is remanufacturing a small batch would anyone in principle be interested in joining in (subject to price of course).

This is certainly a rare occurrence. I suspect, that the failure was caused by a bump or strike at the wheel in question some time ago.

Do you have a photo you can show in this forum?

Most likely, the part is identical to the Augusta, the part numbers are the same. Now you want a usable front brake drum as a whole or just the hub which is riveted to the the drum.

I'll look around if I can find any. Or perhaps one of the Augusta/Belna boys attending this forum has one on the shelf?

Sorry, I don't have a photo as I have now put the miscreant hub back on the car in order to take the other one off in case I need it as a pattern.
I am in the process of separating the good hub from the brake drum, assuming that goes well then I only need the hub not the whole assembly.

I do now have the unbroken hub off the car and here is a photo of it attached

I am exploring the remanufacture option but it is going to be expensive so if there is a spare part out there it would solve a problem for me
