Hi guys

I’m trying to determine if the adjustable rubber pad on the end engine support bracket under the alternator is meant to be actually touching the subframe. I understand it’s not meant to be constantly supporting any weight.

I’m guessing that it’s there to stop the torque of the engine from turning it and the gearbox too much.

about 2 mm clearance recommended by the manual, Andrea

Thank you, that’s great. I trawled the manual but couldn’t find this, but then it’s not the easiest document to trawl through!
