A couple of days ago there was an article in the i with a headlne "The benefits of converting your classic car to electric". There is a company in Bridgnorth doing just that and the writer saw an E-type with an electric motor but keeping clutch and gearbox. All conversions apparently reversible.
No mention of cost!!
I suspect we might have to go. along this route eventually.

Not me at about £30k, and my Fulvia wouldn't be the same without its narrow angle V4, so even if I could afford to do this I wouldn't under any circumstances, I'd sooner give her to a museum as a static exhibit.

I think the Fulvia Coupe done by the company on TV (Quest?) has been mentioned on here. Plenty of go and handled OK but sounded like a milk float of course.

Never, never, never on my Flavia !
I’d rather stick pins in my eyes rather than converting it to electric power.

An electric Fulvia! What a ridiculous pointless car. Why on earth would any sane Fulvia owner want an electric engine instead of its glorious characterful V4.

Quite agree, without its original heart a pointless , costly exercise,  go buy a look alike electric sports car.

Never, why would you want to remove one of the best ever engine and gearbox for a battery??
