LANCIA
Jolly 1963
VIN No. 3351
Engine Type: 809.03

A light commercial vehicle registered in 1963, it still has the 1969 number plates of the province of Benevento. Very special and rare example of a mobile cinema, probably set up shortly after registration, it is said to have been active until the early 1990s touring the village squares in the provinces of Avellino and Benevento.
Repainted years ago and still in excellent condition, the bodywork is sound and the interior is well preserved. The owner’s manual and the rare jack are present. It is still equipped with all the equipment to carry out film projections as the projector of Microtecnica of Turin with coal lantern, the tarpaulin with its removable steel structure, speakers, and some films. The rear part of the roof opens so that the projector can be lifted with a mechanical lift.
Original mechanics in working order, and a valid MOT.
Rare example of a Lancia commercial vehicle, made even more unique by the original equipment of the time. One of the last Lancia Jollys still in circulation. This is not a simple replica fitted out today, but a true piece of history and custom.
The vehicle must be collected from the province of Savona.

Here are a couple of pictures of the cinimamobile Jolly from when it was for sale before. It's a pretty cool piece of kit with all the projection gear in it.

That Jolly is indeed a very nice thing indeed, oh to have the use for it, and the spare funds!
The Prisma integrale is now perhaps even rarer, what a beauty too. Looks showroom fresh. Possibly a simpler car to own too being they had the non turbo 2 litre engine, maybe less highly strung! Even though a LHD, which I just can't get on with, I'd love that.
But I have enough cars just now  Grin
