Free Friday Bonus!

For early arrivals on Friday, the team at Girardo & Co have kindly offered to open their exclusive showroom for 12 of us to drool over some of the stunning and historic cars in their collection.  Max Girardo is passionate about Italian cars, Lancia especially - and even more so if they have a competition heritage.  Check out their website at www.girardo.com for a taster.

Departing the hotel around 4.30pm, we will drive the five miles or so to the showroom and return around 6pm, in plenty of time for the barbeque and quiz.

To reserve your place, please email me directly on mhall@dsl.pipex.com or call/text me on 07946 079222 - first come, first served!

Cheers
Mark
There were some terrific Lancias on display, including a very early Lambda, 11294, which used to be SV 841, but has now been registered BF 8628. It has been restored to a very high standard and is now for sale. I did’nt dare ask how much! The Astura was in superb condition, and accompanied by an immaculate Aprilia and a very tidy Ardea. .

Superb weekend, and good catching up with everyone, Friday visit to Girardo & Co was great, Friday night quiz was brilliant fun, well done Andy  Smiley
Saturday drive out was very good, and Sunday  we had a great turn out of Lancia's, with the bonus of the TV program Salvage Hunters Classic Cars, filming all day (Brown Fulvia Coupe)

Here's a small selection of my photos from the three days:

This year's event was one of the best that we've been to. Thanks must go to Paul and Gemma and the team for organising in the face of Covid and reduced hotel staffing levels. It was great to meet up with old friends after all this time and perhaps make some new ones. Highlights were the after dinner speech and Andy's quiz. And of course the cars. I was going to post some of my pictures but I can't compete with TonyLanciaBeta!
Thanks again to all involved.

Many thanks to all who organised a great weekend. This was our first Lancia Club event and we will be back. Interestingly our last club rally was at the same hotel -different club, different car, but unbelievably, same room.
Thanks especially to Tony and Andy for advice about my car (Beta Berlina 2000) and for Tony's excellent photos.
