Was it FCA Heritage or FCA/Fiat Italy who got you your record. It was an Italian supplied car.....??

The certificate was from Lancia Classiche (Centro Storico Fiat), it was an Italian supplied car to Stresa.

The details confirmed: Chassis number, types (818.630), exact model description, date of sale (month/year), destination of sale (town), colour with paint colour codes and interior trim and relevant code, supplied June 2018.

The probably apocryphal story I heard was that the Betas & Fulvia 3s were selling better than expected. Fiat were tipped off that the Finazia were interested and shortly afterwards there was a flood in the records room that destroyed the build records 1975 to 1977....
Yes but that does not explain why FCA Heritage cannot find any record of my Flavia Vignale 1965.....

.... I think the story goes that random other records were destroyed at the same time. No idea if this is true, but there is definitely no records for early Betas.

I don't think 1973 would be an issue with Fulvias. The Club has copies of the build records for them to the end of 1975 (I just checked). So it isn't the earliest Betas. The gap is 1976-1977.

My certificate request was a prize via the club trip to the Dutch Club in 2018, I did not arrange the submission to Lancia Classiche, it appears there are several different potential sources?

I tried this on my Fulvia Zagato & received this response-

With reference to your request I inform you that there is no information on your car, we are sorry but unfortunately in the past the Lancia Museum, which managed the Lancia archives, did not keep any production register or other list of Lancia Fulvia Sport (Series 818.750-751).

Best regards

Centro Storico Fiat

This is basically the same as I received from FCA heritage.
