We've received this invite:

"Seasons Greetings for 2019 from Gloucester City.

Many thanks for your continued interest and support for our Gloucester Goes Retro Festival.  It is really appreciated and thank you to all who have sent in the very kind comments.

I have great pleasure in enclosing your application form for this year’s event on 24th August 2019.

Due to the increasing demand, we are having to make our arrangements much earlier this year and wish to give all of our loyal and previous attending owners the first opportunity to join us once again at this year’s Festival, and would therefore appreciate replies as soon as you are able please.

We do hope you can make the date and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards
Colin

Cllr Colin Organ FPCS ANAEA
Cabinet Member
Gloucester City Council"

I went to this in 2018 and enjoyed it very much - free parking in a City Centre , next to the shops , docks , cathedral - and cars and people thoroughly in the spirit of the occasion. I would recommend it - but as an individual thing not as a group ( Eras are in different streets anyway ).

Booking Form is attached

Hi
I've just received my pass for the event in the Italian Quarter - looks to be a nice day out so we're looking forward to it!
Is anyone else booked in ?

Hi

We went to this ( didn't get to meet you though Roger ) and I loved it ! Nice selection of Italian cars and Military vehicles in the Docks then across the road to the other eras !

Dressing up is very much a part of the show : storm troopers, land army girls, soldiers ( ww1 and ww2 ) , policeman , US Sheriff, gangsters, hippies, flappers, James Bond ( ie: Tuxedo ) and people of most age groups joining in and a very nice atmosphere all round Smiley

What else can I say ? Vehicles of all eras and a lot of them too and , usually , I didn't take any pictures of Lancias ! Although the list was 5 x integrale, fulvia coupe, fulvia sport, delta hpe and flavia
