Anyone know what Lancia model had its parts numbered with a 29- prefix? Not Lambdas, I think as they were between 10, 11, 24 etc.
Someone is offering a bearing with a 29 prefix and claiming it is Lambda. I would be interested on behalf of the Consortium if it is rare, but my view is it's another model. Dilambda? Astura? Artena?

Hi Tony,

The 1st series Dilambda production numbers were prefixed 227 and the parts book lists part numbers as beginning 27-
The 2nd series were 229 and 232 and although I've never found a parts book for my 229 model It seems likely that the part numbers will start 29-

Do you have the rest of the number as it may be the same as the  27- which will help identify it?

Robin.

Robin, the part number he quotes is 29-7854, a bearing.

I am only interested if it fits Lambda but I have told him I will try and correct his identification.

The sizes are all wrong according to my info.

It is on Ebay.

Tony, 27-7854 is listed in the S1 Dilambda Parts Book as being a bearing associated with the steering wheel. It seems probable that the part numbers remained the same for the S2 with the 27 changing to 29.   24 x 38 x 7 would seem to be the right size for this application.

So, rare it may be but £100 including delivery when modern equivalents are available is a lot to pay for something to put on the shelf and be very unlikely to need. Very small market too, there only being around 20 Dilambda known worldwide.

Robin.
