I have noticed a couple of recent duplicated listings for Fulvias (1 coupe and 1 zagato on a trailer) with v low start prices but details also include a suggested buy it today price of £5400 (not via ebay) and a email address to contact the owner who is a "friend" of the seller but is not a EBAY seller. However if you click on other items of the seller you will find dozens of items bikes, motorhomes etc etc all with the same contact details and "buy it now" price of £5400!! I have reported this listing to Ebay as potentially fraudulent as there is clearly some sort of scam going on, I suggest if any member views such a listing report it to ebay just click on report item and select various options perhaps this will get ebay to get this rubbish of their listings.

Apparently, if you enquire, the cars are usually in Orkney.....

They come up from time to time. The latest scammer listed 1,350 classic cars all in one day. Usually they all have exactly the same text and price though the sbtelty level has risen fractionally with different improbable prices now.

Ebay warn about making deals outside of eBay, at least with eBay you may have some protection, outside of eBay, you're on your own. As the saying goes if a deal looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

They're at it again. It's surprising how many things his mate Carl, who isn't on e-bay, has got to sell. All with rather too cheap "buy it now" prices!
