Lovely camera.  I used to have a Rollei 35 which from memory was a little bigger and had to go in a case but still a handy pocket size and again easy to use "shooting from the hip".

A quote on the XA from that first article:  "The XA is like a pebble that just sits perfectly in your hand".

Took me a while - but of course,  it's classic horse race courses isn't it! I had been musing on the naming of the Lancia colours and  Grigio Doncaster was particularly troubling me. Don't get me wrong, Diana Rigg,  the Flying Scotsman and very  many classy things come from a fine town - but it had been puzzling me.

On the subject of names - what is the correct term for the missing part on this photo. Wheel embellishers, wheel rings - and any suggestions where I could source four?

they are 15 inch. Cavalitto sell them and they come complete with rubber spacers and ss screws. You may need to clean up / repair the threads on your wheels which should be (anorak) ivorio antico colour. Grigio Newmarket with red looks superb but I am biased....

Wheels matching the interior can look good.  I'm thinking of Anthony Hussey's Aurelia in particular.

This "Collectors Guide" book is ok but "keep an eye out for" rather than pay those prices for one.  They come up on the club forum from time to time.

It's the stuff of dreams.

Afternoon.

Here are few more snaps of work in progress, which is going well.

This weeks current debate is on the time v cost v end result merits of either replacing (if possible to source the parts) or repairing :

Front/rear floor pans.
Door sills
Front and rear lower quarters

Any thoughts....

Many regards
Andy

Hello
I have restored one of these in early 2000 - somewhere among my collection of Lancia spares I have at least one of each, new, front and rear floor pans plus other mechanical bits and pieces. The rear inner and outer arches are the same as a Triumph Stag and I have a contact for these. Send me a PM with a phone no. and I would be happy to talk.
Best wishes
Dave
