Thanks Chris! Back in UK now with full load of wine, beer etc. The 2c did heroically well! Thanks to Tim's engine rebuild the car ran faultlessly, smoothly and economically.
Justin,
2c looks  brilliant and pleased she went so well, hope Sara and yourself had a nice break.

Finally got my car out of hibernation, with the virus situation and nowhere much to go I didn't see the point in taxing it.
Then I figured I ought to at least use it...
Local Lincolnshire lanes..

Given the fine weather we're having I don't think I'd be able to resist the temptation to use it to go to work.

I am deep into researching the Lancia based World War 1 armoured car. In the process I visited the web site of the Henriques Museum in Trieste because they have the only complete original example that is known to exist. I also found this intriguing picture of a large aircraft being transported in bits to the museum with a familiar face in the middle of the line up of cars in the foreground.

I'm usually pretty good with aircraft recognition but this one has me stumped. First thought was a Handley Page Halifax but I don't think the curvature of the top is right...
Anyone else have any thoughts?

The museum web site didn't give much detail. They found a set of photos in their archive from the 1950s but I have a feeling the aircraft didn't remain in the museum collection so up to date details aren't available. I presume it was Italian and the only description was "Tri-motor". It has taken a bit of finding but I think it's a VAR.SM.82 heavy bomber / transport plane.

Savoia  Marchetti 79 not sure, many of these were used in the bombing of Malta and the middle east.

One of those silly things popped up on my computer news feeds today. "What car would Guy Fawkes drive?" Among the Renault Fuegos and Golf Matches was, of course, a Y10 Fire. Whilst not actually a car my favorite was probably the Guy 'Otter.

As it was a nice day - I decided to run them up and take a pic of the 4 of them together. The works Fulvia is still having some work done, but here is my Spyder, S1, S2 Lusso and Rally.

The Beta because I've had it for so long (28 years) and done so much to it. It's the only one that I'd never sell. Here are some more pics of it (and more) at the NEC show in 2017: https://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=9298.0
