The next step is an instagram page for Modestines followers.  Ask a grandchild what that is, and to do it.

I wonder what that does to the toe-in - looks like it should increase it but does that help with cornering by putting more lock on the outer wheel?

That reminds me of a 1925 road test of  a Twin Cam Salmson which had Perrot brakes which are notorious for braking the inner wheel when cornering - the tester remarked that this helped with the cornering!!

Great photo though.

RHDs but I don't know the number plates. Also a front grill is missing? Where is the location?

Can't help much with that Richard. I stumbled across the image whilst searching for something else.
It was on one of those image sharing sites that just shows a picture with no information.
Looks late 60's in the UK ?

Hard to pinpoint. At first it looks like an old London area but there are the plates and I only recognise a Maxi and BMC 1100 in the background. Can't identify the others. Shame the graffiti on the wall is blurred. Might have given a clue. If I was offered one of the Lancia's would it be the coupe for elegance or the Sport for weirdness? Hard choice.

You could well be right.
I cropped my picture very slightly to concentrate on the two 'proper' cars in the photo.
The original image shows an angry looking ( Australian/ American style ) truck that I don't recognize.
Enlarging the image in 'Pictures' I would guess that the rear ends are left to right

It looks like there are three digits between LOL and 745, so my guess is New South Wales.
