Gazoline magazine , one of the better (best ?) motoring magazines over here has been running a series of articles following a ground up resto of a 1st ser Rallye S. I missed the first ones but have ordered the back issues, 10 so far - but here is a flavour !

It is very detailed and has a few minor errors , but from what I have seen so far looks as if it could be useful even if you don't speak/read French

Not sure how you will access it from the UK but maybe worth trying ?

ps I'm sure copyright shouldn't be an issue because I am promoting the mag !

The engine bay alone looks even worse that JLT
