Delta HF Turbo

« on: 21 January, 2008, 07:07:11 PM »

Hi All,
I just registered on the forum, thought i'd say HI! Grin

I have not met any of you yet as I have not been to any meets/events. My Lancia Delta HF Turbo has been being restored/upgraded for the last 3 yrs and has been offroad.
Finally have it back now here is what i had done Smiley

Body Work.

2 x Front arches from 16v Integralle
2 x Rear arches from 16v Integralle (custom welded to existing rear quarters!)
Evo 2 Bulging Bonnet
Evo 2 Rear spoiler
16v Integralle twin headlamps and Indicators
*edit*Front and Rear 16v Integralle Bumpers and Side skirts
Full Leather Interior from an Evo 1 with brand new carpet
Full Strip and re-spray in Monza Red. Major attention payed to rust and welding (which there was a hell of a lot!)*edit*

Engine.

Full 4" Custom one off stainless steel exhaust
Dedra T3 Turbo and Manifold conversion with 4" down pipe
130 TC Race Cams
Group A Bailey Dump Valve
8v Integralle Intercooler
Samco Silicon Hoses
Pipercross Cone induction kit
Sparco red front Strut Brace

Transmission.

Complete Gearbox rebuild including Diff Bearings.
Uprated EBC clutch
Front 16v Integralle Brake conversion
Drilled, Grooved and vented front discs

Wheels.

17" Corsica 4-stud Integralle wheels.

This has taken up so much time and money, I am glad that its nearly all over. Just having a few teething problems at the moment. The dash and the indicators keep cutting out. Think I have a dodgey earth somewhere. I will be coming to Goodwood so hopefully see some of you there.

Take it Easy,
                 Chris.

Chris, all I can really say is :

WELCOME

sorry to shout but as you have an HF Turbo, you probably can't hear much over the
engine noise.

Welcome, Chris!

I'm guessing with all that specification that you'll be getting a little more than 140bhp...? Did you start out with all of that as a shopping list, or did you catch the "tweaking" bug when you started and found you couldn't stop?!

Alas, I'm not going to be at Goodwood but hopefully we'll see you at some of our other events.
