The Bristol Area Christmas dinner has now been booked for Saturday December 19th, at The Bell Inn, Yatton Keynell at 8pm.

All are welcome, but places are limited, so book early and send your deposit to guarantee your place!

The Bell Inn is situated on the B4039 in Yatton Keynell, which is about a mile from Castle Coombe circuit. It serves fabulous food, and by the look of it the Christmas evening dinner menu is no exception.

Starters:
Seasonal Soup with crusty bread (v)
Butternut Squash tart on a bed of dressed leaves (v)
Smoked salmon pate with Melba Toast
Field Mushroom stufed with Stilton and wrapped in Bacon

Mains:
Traditional Roast Turkey with all the trimmings
Mushroom, Brie and Cranberry Wellington (v)
Cranberry & Apple stuffed Whole Sea Bass with a dill & mustard cream sauce
Gammon Hock with a honey & mustard sauce

All the above served with traditional potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Desserts:
Individual Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce
Lemon Souffle wrapped in pistachio & caramelised sugar
Trio of Cheese & Biscuits
Chocolate & Double Cream Roulade

Coffee & Minced Pie

The price per adult $24.00 (sorry, american style keyboard so I can't find the pound sign!!)
Children's portions will be half the price, or children can choose from the normal bar menu on the evening.

Pre booking is required for adults - children the pub can be flexible with.
PLease let me know asap if you would like to come, and deposits of $10.00 will be required by 1st December at the VERY latest.

I'm thinking of all meeting at mine (about a quarter of a mile from the pub) from about 6.30pm for those who would like a glass or two of mulled wine, and for those feeling brave, camping space is available if you want to pitch up and stay over!

I look forward to hearing from you

Cheers

Andy

Likewise. I think I won't have my daughters with me, but will confirm soon.

You should add this to the calendar, too, so that it shows more prominently and entices those outside the regional gang!

Those outside the regional gang have noticed!  Serious consideration being given to our attendance, if we can find a place to stay overnight - Andy has previously given us some pointers so I'm sure we'll find somewhere...  Sharon draws the line at camping in December...

Excellent!

The more the merrier!

Just to let those of you who are undecided know - numbers are filling fast. So only a few places left.

Let me know asap, if you would like to come

Cheers

There is now just one place left for this year's Bristol Area Christmas Dinner. (That's assuming I have got my sums right on who is coming!)

Could those of you who have committed to coming, but haven't advised me of your menu options, please let me have them asap, so that I can let The Bell know.

Many thanks all, and final details of what time to meet, where to meet etc will all be communicated closer to the date.

Cheers
