Title: Sub £100 car
Post by: m tulloch on 22 December, 2007, 09:56:36 PM
Can anyone help!!!

Looking for a car to do the "Home to Rome" rally next year. Would prefer to do it in a Delta/y10 or Alfa/Fiat at a push. The only thing is, it must be under £100, preferably with any Mot as I cannot currently trailer it home and have to drive it.

Can anyone help?? ???

I've just been offered a 1992 Dedra 2.0ie Auto, one owner since 1994, 100.000 miles, looks in very good condition, downside is has a engine management running problem, sounds very much like a sensor to me, it's Sorn'd but has a MOT.
Go in style and comfort, the owner wants £100.
If your interested let me have your email and I'll send photos, I would load them here but the upload facility is still down!

Thanks for the offer, but feel that it would be hypocritical for me to accept due to my rant about how awful Dedras are only a couple of weeks ago!  ::)

;D ;D When will I learn to keep my big mouth shut ;D ;D

Still, if there are any Thema 16v out there, thats a different matter!

Brian

I know a certain Mr Andy Collins that has a thing for automatics, I'm sure he needs a Dedra in his life...

I could help with a Y10. My new year's resolution is to sort my cars out and I could start by shifting a pair of Y10 Fire LXs. I was going to put the engine and gearbox out of one into the other but I am questioning whether I will really be able to get round to it. MOTs have expired but I don't think the one I have been using every day for the past year has anything drastic wrong with it. I could probably borrow a trailer and deliver if you are not too far from Bedfordshire. Let me know at f.tierney@btinternet.com if this is of interest. Price negotiable from £100 downwards!

The Dedra Auto has now found a new home with an LMC member to go with his Dedra Turbo, Dedra 1.6, couple of Thema's & his Monte Carlo. Thanks for the interest, another saved ;D
