Title: Correct Headlights Post by: peterbaker on 11 February, 2017, 02:01:18 PM Hi all. My imported left hand drive Flavia is about to undergo its MOT and if possible I would like to fit the correct dipping outer headlamp units. All suggestions welcome.

These work when you put an H4 connector adaptor on the end of the wiring loom. Plus you get 2 main beams if you wire in another relay and supply ( to save the existing main beam relay contacts from burning out). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cibie-5-3-4-Inch-E-Approved-Headlight-Conversions-H4-Main-Dip-Beam-Side-Light-/361022495805?hash=item540e9e1c3d:g:TqIAAOSwnDxUfQ5H You may need to tweak the mounting tabs to match the bowls. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-23234033 I actually like 2 sets of side lights... Title: Re: Correct Headlights Post by: peterbaker on 13 February, 2017, 04:32:19 PM So, am I correct in saying any set of 5 3/4 without sidelight fitment will fit? Say Triumph Stag for example?
Title: Re: Correct Headlights Post by: lancialulu on 13 February, 2017, 04:54:24 PM depends on how they locate in the backing bowl. So I do not know!
Title: Re: Correct Headlights Post by: frankxhv773t on 13 February, 2017, 08:21:29 PM I think it likely that most 5 3/4 lights will fit. After all, this was before the days of bespoke headlights. I had all manner of different makes of round headlights in Betas all just held in with the standard retaining ring.
