I enjoyed reading the Henry Liddon feature. But please note, his famous win on Rallye Monte Carlo in 1964 with Paddy Hopkirk was of course obtained in the little red and white Mini 33EJB, not in a Austin Healey 3000. For the record, Lidden also won the RAC Rally three times, co-driving Timo Makinen. He died, at the age of just 55 on the second day of Rallye Cote d'Ivoire (formally known as the 'Bandama)when the Team Toyota, chartered Cessna 'spotter' aircraft, in which he was travelling crashed in flames without apparent reason.
