Was the Delta Integrale 8v introduced to the market in 1987 or 1988?

La Lancia ( Oude Weernink) says Delta HF 4WD introduced 1986 and HF Integrale 1988

My little red book on the Integrale says that 9841 HF's were built between 1987 and 1989 so presumably they were on the market in Italy in 1987 if not in the UK.
According to Collins and Baker* the production of 5000 required for homologation was achieved by 1st of March 1988. They were in Italian showrooms by the end of October 1997 but it was March 1988 before UK journalists got hold of one.

Ta Both.

I was relying on Oude when putting together model anniversaries for the club, then a journo contacted me today to say what was the club doing to celebrate 40 years of Integrale......

Integrale owners out there what do you want to do????

I would tell the Journo that the club is definitely not doing anything for 'Integrale 40' next year, they may however do something for 'Integrale 29 or 30' depending on your point of reference!

The one I had was sold in Antibes in 1987.  30 years after October 2017.

Also tel the journo its integrale not Integrale!
