A recently rejoined member asked me to put up this info and link for opinions from current owners/experts on the Fulvia -

Could you ask under the Fulvia forum what people think of the Series 1 1.3 Rallye in this advert:

It has been stripped, resprayed, etc and all mechanicals refurbed, etc. So, although at the top end for a Series 1 1.3 Rallye it has had everything done. Has wrong wheels but otherwise everything seems to have been done to a high standard.

Looks good but as you say on the wrong tyres and wheels, if he wants originality it should have painted steel wheels with Hubcaps with a lancia Badges in the centre of each hub cap, along with trim rings which need the correct wheels, as they have studs for the stainless screws that hold them on, not really a lot to go one as there's no mileage and History, other what's shown in the post.
Seems a lot of money but it will all depend on condition.

Small point but shouldn't the hubcaps on a Fulvia of this age be the fairly plain ones with 'LANCIA' stamped across them?
Irrelevant really.
Its a high price and I certainly would give it a good inspection and test drive before making an offer.

No Chris, my 1969 1.3 Rallye was equipped with the badges on the hub caps and the trim rings, but I think the early Fulvia 1.2 Coupes had the plain hubcaps stamped with lancia, the same as on "Fay".

Yes Brian. You are right. Of course I should have known as our GTE has the badged hubcaps. Well done. There were lots of Fulvia Coupes for sale at Padova but I didn't take much notice of the prices but this one is quite high isn't it?

I wonder if the seats have been reupholstered? they appear a darker colour than the door cards, the vinyl doesn't fit well round the corners of the back rests and they look rather over stuffed.

Also is it sitting rather high at the back? I know coupes sit up a bit but this doesn't look quite comfortable.

Somehow it has a slight air of having had a lot of money spent on it by someone who didn't quite know what they were doing?

Frank has a good point which should be taken into account i.e. refettling and rebuilt car. Yes IMHO the back is up too high. That being said I would think the car is going to be a good one.
