Thank you Peter for such brilliant photos as usual! So sorry we missed you on the day. Jason and I had a fantastic time at the Bentley Drivers meeting - we love racing at this meeting. Jason in his stint in the Aurelia did in fact get past the AC but after a couple of laps the AC sped past on the straight. Mark in the Ace had a bad pit stop so I came out in front of him but again after a great battle, he just drove past me on the straight. So frustrating but it's fab to know the Aurelia out guns most cars through the corners. After a lovely race the cherry on the ice is that we ended up winning the class! And our best time was only a tiny bit down on our best ever on the Silverstone National which isn't bad considering we haven't driven the car in anger this year as we're concentrating on the Beta. |
