No connection to seller - but I do remember him finding this in a lock up last year - I seem to remember it had stalagmites on the body - now removed!

A pretty brave individual required...

Is it just me or is the asking price a bit optimistic?

By the time this one will be returned to it's former glamourous condition there quite a few buck to be spend.  IMO better to buy a restored one then...

As an example this one in Holland in a dealer at around £36,000, you will not get very far on £11k with restoration methinks....

There appear to be a few around as well, so not spoilt for choice.

What I remember the guy brought it on ebay last year, I think it was only on Ebay for a couple of days and he got it for good price. He mentioned on another forum that it was a lucky purchase and he was going to restore it. I imagine when he looked into the condition and work involved plus costs, it was too much of a donating task. To me it looks like a total strip down including body off and a lot of new panels, plus full mechanical rebuild, more for love than for profit.

So I guess he’s trying to jump onto the classic car bubble at that price. Although if he broke the car he could get £6K plus.

Even the other GT looks like it needs a fair bit of work, including new sills, interior and paint not to mentioned what the engine and mechanics look or runs like, no mention in the ad about condition. As someone once said on this forum they don’t trust sellers that don’t show engine shots.
