Title: Fabric for Delta HF turbo ie
Post by: Rob on 15 January, 2015, 10:27:15 PM
When I get round to recovering the interior of my Delta HF turbo ie I'll need to find the light grey alcantara & the Harlem stripped design fabric. Does anyone know if you can still buy it? Cheers, Rob

Rob,
Yes Alcantara is available in the UK,I can't remember the address but if you Google it you should find the company.
However while you should be able to get the plain Alcantara you won't be able get hold of any perforated cloth, and  for the Harlem striped fabric you will probably have to hunt the internet, ebay and some of the similar sites like Subito in Italy, you may find you'll have to buy a set of secondhand seats to get hold of any, or if you're lucky just the covers.
I sold the last piece of Grey Alacantara that I'd bought for my HF Turbo in the late 1990's when I sold the HF, and even then it was hard to get hold of.
As for the striped material shame you missed the set of seats that Andy Dekyn has just sold on ebay, if I remember correctly they were offered on here first.

Yes, bad timing...  if the sale falls through for any reason I'll let you know.

I'll probably have another set up for sale later on in the year and if you are interested in these send me a PM.

Cheers
Andy

Thanks for your replies Brian & Andy. I have the Recaro interior in my Delta so I would have only had those seats purely for the fabric which seems a bit of a waste. I'll keep searching the internet & see what comes up. If you hear of anyone with some for sale please let me know. Cheers, Rob

Rob,
Probably the only way you'll find that material, (if you're lucky) may seem a bit of a waste but worth having if you can find somewhere to store any left over!

ebay.it didn't get me anywhere but I did come across this:

http://www.kijiji.it/annunci/ricambi-e-accessori/cuneo-annunci-dogliani/tessuto-missoni-lancia-evo/34811099#next

And if this isn't quite right you might just find something out there armed with Google Translate and a bit of patience... :)

Mind you, not cheap but then I'd be surprised if it was.

Can't you salvage some cloth from back seats or are they a completely different size?

Frank

Andy if it's plain Alcantara were talking about there's no need to go abroad for it.

No, it is the striped bit that the link was related to, I think it's called Missoni.  In fact if you do a Google image search for 'lancia delta missoni' you can see pics with sheets of the fabric in question.

I had a look at that link you posted Andy & it does look very similar indeed. I'd better start doing some more overtime to help pay for it! Thanks for looking.
