Title: Lancias on Goodwood Festival of Speed programme
Post by: stuwilson128 on 25 August, 2007, 04:31:49 PM
The programme showed quick glimpses of two Stratos on the rally stage and a Flaminia Supersport on the Cartier stand at the Festival of Speed.  It is being repeated on Monday 27th August at 1900 on ITV4.

I have just watched a video-tape of this. It’s good but better not blink or you will miss the Stratos and the Flaminia Sport! The Flaminia belongs to David Gee and at Goodwood it was featured in the Cartier watches ‘Style et Luxe’ display of “the world’s rarest and most beautiful machinery.”  David’s car can also be seen at the ‘Lancia in the Piazza’ event in Covent garden on 16 September, where it will be one of the group of ten ‘star cars’ in the East Piazza, and as one of the 100 Lancia cars (from 1910 through to 2007) that will be there on the day.

Damn, I was there and I missed both of those... but I did take pictures of others, including a Beta Montecarlo Turbo, an 037, an Integrale and a Fulvia Coupe, which I put online here (http://"http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v316/TimV69/Goodwood/2007_Festival_of_Speed/") (mostly non-Lancias though, sorry!)
