This car, which I saw listed for sale elsewhere for (IIRC) an unlikely 9k Euros, was 'sold' for £2,600 on ebay a week ago.

Why would it be for sale again so soon after. I would have expected a buyer to take it at that price (for parts alone), but perhaps the seller pulled out?

The photos, if you look carefully, suggest to me that there might be serious problems in the A pillars (but this area has not been 'honestly' photographed by the seller).

Is that really "not honest" photos by the seller? The view up the right hand side from the rear gives a strong impression of trouble round the A pillar.

Surely anyone sensible bidding on it would need to carry out an inspection in the flesh.

Even if the A pillars were shot I still am pleased to see that projects are still out there.  It wasn't given away but also not at "investment" / "Mille Miglia" prices and nor did it look to have been plundered for spares.  Hopefully this one will see the road again, and give someone a lot of pleasure as a project getting it there.
