So if your friend is interested in a restoration project he should certainly be checking and counting that all the parts needed to complete the car are indeed present in the ebay listing you gave! It could be very expensive trying to source all those hard-to-find parts otherwise that our ebay friend has cherry picked to sell off separately. He has owned a number of Fulvia Sports over the years.

It may not be a bad buy IF you can do most to the work yourself. Any running Zagato is at least 7K now and good ones 10K upwards so no profit if you pay someone I would say.

The problem with projects like this is that there is not enough of the original left to be able to set the floor pan and thus the whole shell to its true dimensions. All would have to be done from scratch, definitely not a task I would want to take on. Building a jig would be a huge job in itself. It makes the south London Sport look a breeze ..... The vehicle was last taxed/on road in 1986. I'm sure it will yield some parts but I get the impression most of the mechanicals are in bits too. No doubt, someone will buy it but I'd be astounded if it was ever restored. Such a shame to see them in this state

This car XMM 60G was advertised on eBay auction and sold for a few hundred pounds in August 2010, but I suspect was not collected, and hence the re-advertisement. It appears to have deteriorated further. Looking at the photos carefully, a lot of the bright metal parts and difficult to obtain bits are missing, although it possibly still is a source of some parts. SCV 747G is probably a much better proposition, although still significant. S1 Sports are getting quite rare, and are lovely to drive. By the way, if anyone does look at / buy this car, I would be very pleased to know its VIN for the Zagato Register records. In the listing he says he is going to restore the car and is selling the aluminium wing as he has found a steel replacement.
