Title: Grand closing down sale
Post by: westernlancia on 24 September, 2013, 08:57:36 PM
Hi folks

As some of you may know by now I am emigrating to France next month, and as a consequence I have to slim down my collections of cars and parts to a massive extent and in a pretty short timescale. I have literally shedloads of stuff to get rid of, and so that I can sell it quickly I am happy to do people serious deals, but only if they take large quantities of stuff off my hands at once. I have a lot of Fulvia stuff, some Appia stuff, some Beta stuff and some modern twincam (mostly Thema) stuff. I have not had the chance to sort through it all, and so the approach I am taking is to offer a 'grab bag' of stuff worth £100, or £1000, or whatever - as long as you take lots of it at once.

I am listing it on eBay, but as ever, to avoid their extortionate fees I would be much happier to offer it to a Lancista (yes, it does end in 'a'!) with a need for parts and a big trailer. If you think you might be interested the best way is to contact me on ajwesson (at) yahoo (dot) com, or phone me on 07515 597589 or 01392 811918 - the mobile is playing up and I hate phones anyway, so email is a better bet at the moment.

Here is one of my eBay auctions - don't bid though: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=231061879971

Cheers and thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

Having only dealt with you on one occasion over a small item, all I can say is that it was a pleasure to deal with you, hoping the big sale goes well and can I wish you all the very best in the latest chapter of your life,

P

Thanks Frank - I have to say the experience was mutually pleasurable! And thanks for the good wishes. I shan't be leaving the Lancia world entirely - just participating in it in sunnier climes (like Simon does!).
