The special bodied Aurelias often achieve no more (or even less) than the equivalent standard bodied Aurelia when sold and this has been the case for years.
I assume this is beciause the car as originally envisaged and produced was pretty near perfect and in balance mechanically, aesthetically and performance wise.
I am not biased of course!

I think you're right Chris, apart from the Zagato bodied Aurelia, I always found the 'specials' a bit of an acquired taste.
