Flaminia Zagato spider - perhaps Fleming really meant a touring convertible?

Remember Flemming was writing fiction. It does sound like a brilliant car even if Lancia never made one.

Alister MacLean was a Flaminia man too. He had a 2.5 Berlina which was later owned by a naval officer who weekly commuted in it from Faslane to Suffolk and drove it to and from Cairo when he was naval attache at the British embasy there. Unfortunately it rotted away. Cristo had the engine, Chugga the suspension and I have the leather interior. Perhaps bits of it will ride again.
